It sits alongside our <a href=\"/dmca/\">DMCA</a> page, which covers formal copyright notices, and our <a href=\"/terms-of-service/\">Terms of Service</a>, of which it forms part. We have written it for two kinds of reader: the customer who wants to know what they can ask us to print, and the rights holder who wants to know how we protect their work.</p>\n<section class=\"policy-summary\">\n<h2>At a glance</h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ours:</strong> the Warm Heart Gifts name, the heart-in-hands logo, our designs, photographs and page text.</li>\n<li><strong>Yours:</strong> the personal text and photos you send for your own gift stay yours; we use them only to make your order.</li>\n<li><strong>Not printed:</strong> brand logos, team names and crests, licensed characters, song lyrics and images you do not have permission to use.</li>\n<li><strong>Concerns:</strong> write to <a href=\"mailto:support@warmheartgifts.com\">support@warmheartgifts.com</a>; we reply within 1 business day.</li>\n</ul>\n</section>\n<h2>1. What belongs to Warm Heart Gifts</h2>\n<p>Unless stated otherwise, the following are owned by Warm Heart Gifts or used with permission:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>the name &#8220;Warm Heart Gifts&#8221; and the domain warmheartgifts.com;</li>\n<li>our logo, which shows a heart formed in the space between two cupped hands with three short rays above it, and our favicon based on the same mark;</li>\n<li>the designs offered on our product pages, including layouts, typography arrangements, illustrations and decorative elements;</li>\n<li>photographs and images on the site, once they are added;</li>\n<li>all text on the site, including product descriptions, category descriptions, policies, help pages and this page;</li>\n<li>the overall look and arrangement of the site, including our colour palette and page structure.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our ownership of a design does not extend to the personal words you add to it. When you order a canvas with your family&#8217;s name, the design is ours and the name is yours.</p>\n<h2>2. What you may do</h2>\n<p>You are welcome to:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>browse the site, read our policies and print a page for your own reference;</li>\n<li>share links to our product pages, for example to show a sibling the ornament you plan to order together;</li>\n<li>take photos of the gift you received and share them on your own social media, in your home or in a family album;</li>\n<li>quote a short passage from our policies when you write to us or discuss them, with a link back to the page.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>3. What you may not do</h2>\n<p>Without our written permission, please do not:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy our designs, photographs or product descriptions to sell products on another site or marketplace;</li>\n<li>reproduce our policies or help pages on another store&#8217;s website;</li>\n<li>use our name, logo or a similar name or mark for your own shop, social account, advertising or domain;</li>\n<li>suggest that Warm Heart Gifts endorses, sponsors or partners with you;</li>\n<li>scrape the site with automated tools to copy its content or catalogue;</li>\n<li>remove or alter any notice that identifies us as the owner of content.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you would like to use something of ours in a way not listed above, such as featuring a gift in an article, ask us; we often say yes.</p>\n<h2>4. Our trademarks and name</h2>\n<p>&#8220;Warm Heart Gifts&#8221; and our heart-in-hands logo identify our shop and the gifts we make. Please do not use them in a way that could confuse people about who made a product or who runs a website. If you see a shop, marketplace listing, social account or advertisement that uses our name or logo and is not us, we would be grateful if you told us. The only official website for Warm Heart Gifts is warmheartgifts.com, and our only support address is support@warmheartgifts.com. We do not currently run accounts on social media platforms, so any account claiming to be ours is not.</p>\n<h2>5. Respecting other people&#8217;s rights when we print</h2>\n<p>A personalised gift is only as good as the trust behind it. We do not want to make something that takes from another artist, writer or brand, and we do not want you to receive a gift that could be challenged. So we follow a few rules when we print:</p>\n<table class=\"policy-table\">\n<caption>What we can and cannot print on a personalised gift</caption>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"col\">Request</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">Can we print it?</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">Why</th>\n</tr>\n</thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Names, nicknames, dates, places, coordinates</td>\n<td>Yes</td>\n<td>These are your personal details, not someone else&#8217;s work</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>A short line in your own words</td>\n<td>Yes</td>\n<td>You wrote it, so it is yours to print</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>A traditional blessing or a saying in common use</td>\n<td>Usually</td>\n<td>Many traditional phrases are free to use; we may ask about the source</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Song lyrics or lines from recent books and films</td>\n<td>No</td>\n<td>Protected by copyright; we cannot get permission for each order</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Sports team names, crests or colours arranged as a logo</td>\n<td>No</td>\n<td>Protected trademarks belonging to teams and leagues</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Cartoon and film characters</td>\n<td>No</td>\n<td>Licensed characters belong to their studios</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Brand names and logos</td>\n<td>No</td>\n<td>Trademarks belong to their owners</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>A photo you took yourself</td>\n<td>Yes, where the product offers photos</td>\n<td>You own the copyright</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>A photo by a professional or from the internet</td>\n<td>Only with the owner&#8217;s permission</td>\n<td>The photographer or site owner holds the rights</td>\n</tr>\n</tbody>\n</table>\n<p>When an order includes something we cannot print, we pause the order and write to you with a suggestion, for example the year a song was first danced to instead of its lyrics. If we cannot agree on wording, we cancel the order and refund it in full.</p>\n<h2>6. Your content stays yours</h2>\n<p>The names, dates, words and photos you send for your own gift remain yours. By placing an order, you give us permission to use them only to make, ship and support that order, for example to show them to the person printing your gift or to check a misprint you report. We do not use them in our catalogue, in advertising or in examples on the site, and we do not share them except as described in our <a href=\"/privacy-policy/\">Privacy Policy</a>. If you would ever like your gift featured, we will ask first and only use it with your written agreement.</p>\n<h2>7. How to report an intellectual property concern</h2>\n<p>If you believe something on our site or a product we made uses your trademark, design or other intellectual property without permission, write to <a href=\"mailto:support@warmheartgifts.com\">support@warmheartgifts.com</a> with the subject &#8220;IP concern&#8221;. Please include:</p>\n<ol>\n<li>your name, contact details and, if you act for someone else, the name of the rights owner;</li>\n<li>a description of your trademark, design or work, with registration numbers if it is registered;</li>\n<li>the web address of the page or product concerned, or the order number and a photo if it is about a printed item;</li>\n<li>a brief explanation of why you believe the use is not permitted;</li>\n<li>a statement that the information you provide is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.</li>\n</ol>\n<p>For copyright specifically, our <a href=\"/dmca/\">DMCA</a> page lists the formal notice requirements, including the counter-notice process for customers.</p>\n<h2>8. What happens next</h2>\n<p>We confirm receipt within 1 business day and normally complete our review within 3 business days. While we review, we stop printing any design or order the concern relates to. If we agree the use is not permitted, we remove the material from the site, withdraw the design, and contact any customer whose order is affected. If we disagree, we explain why in writing. We keep a record of each concern and our decision.</p>\n<h2>9. Questions customers ask before ordering</h2>\n<h3>Can I put my favourite team&#8217;s name on a shirt for my dad?</h3>\n<p>We cannot print a team&#8217;s name, crest or logo, because those belong to the team and its league. You can still make the shirt about the game: the year your dad first took you to a match, the seat number you always sat in, or a nickname from the stands. Those details are yours, and they often mean more.</p>\n<h3>My daughter loves a cartoon character. Can it go on her birthday mug?</h3>\n<p>No, licensed characters belong to their studios. Our own designs include simple illustrations, and you can add her name, her age and a line she says every day. If you describe what she loves, we are glad to point you to a design that suits it.</p>\n<h3>Can I print the first line of our wedding song?</h3>\n<p>Song lyrics are protected by copyright even when the line is short. Instead, many couples print the song title in their own handwriting style, or simply &#8220;our first dance&#8221; with the date. We will suggest wording when we contact you.</p>\n<h3>I want my business logo on mugs for my team. Is that allowed?</h3>\n<p>If you own the logo, yes, where the product offers image personalisation. Tell us in your order notes that the logo is yours. We may ask you to confirm it in writing before we print, which protects both of us.</p>\n<h3>Can I use a photo of my grandchildren taken at school?</h3>\n<p>School portraits are usually owned by the photography company that took them, and many companies sell a personal print release. If you have one, you are welcome to use the photo where a product offers photo personalisation. If you took the photo yourself, it is already yours.</p>\n<h3>Can I put a short Bible verse or prayer on a memorial ornament?</h3>\n<p>Traditional scripture verses and well-known prayers are usually free to print, although some modern translations are copyrighted. Tell us which translation you would like, and if we have any doubt we will suggest a translation that is free to use. We print the words plainly, without religious symbols, so that the name remains the centre of the ornament.</p>\n<h2>10. Lookalike shops and impersonation</h2>\n<p>Unfortunately, small online shops are sometimes copied: their names, logos, product photos or policy pages appear on other websites that have nothing to do with them. If you find a site or listing that looks like ours but is not on warmheartgifts.com, please do not order from it and please let us know. We will report it to the platform or host concerned. Orders placed on other websites are not covered by our returns, refunds or support.</p>\n<h2>11. Ideas and feedback</h2>\n<p>We enjoy hearing ideas for new designs or products. If you send us a suggestion, you agree that we may use it freely without payment or credit, unless we agree otherwise in writing beforehand. This does not apply to the personal text or photos you send for your own gift, which remain yours as described in section 6. If you are a designer hoping to work with us, please say so in your first message, and do not send finished artwork until we have agreed terms.</p>\n<h2>12. Permission requests and contact</h2>\n<p>To ask permission to use our content or name, to report a concern, or to tell us about a site impersonating Warm Heart Gifts, write to <a href=\"mailto:support@warmheartgifts.com\">support@warmheartgifts.com</a> or by post to Warm Heart Gifts, 688 Millsap Road, Fayetteville, AR 72703, US.
